Liner Socks, Footies and Invisible Socks

Liner socks, footie socks and invisible socks are names for nearly the same thing: a sock cut low enough to stay inside the shoe. Ours is the Low-Cut. The usual problem is the heel, since a liner has little fabric to hold on with. Ours is cut and sewn from a cotton and modal fabric, so the heel already sits where it should, and a silicone grip keeps it there.

Liner is the broadest name: a thin sock worn under a shoe, sometimes little more than a toe cap and a strip at the heel. Most no show socks cover more. For loafers or sneakers, our Mid-Cut or High-Cut suits better.

Mostly. Footie usually means the lowest shape, for flats and heels. Invisible socks covers any no show sock. Whether one stays invisible depends on the cut, not the label. More in low cut vs no show socks.

S to XL. For women, S fits US 5 to 6.5, M fits 7 to 9, L fits 9.5 to 11.5 and XL fits 12 to 14. For men, S fits US 3.5 to 5, M fits 5.5 to 7.5, L fits 8 to 10 and XL fits 10.5 to 12.5.
